Wafatnya Gus Dur dan Frans Seda tokoh negarawan membuat kita mengheningkan cipta untuk mengenang jasa – jasa beliau dalam ikut berpartisipasi membangun negeri ini. Banyak kejadian yang sedih maupun senang di tahun sebelumnya termasuk kasus hukum Prita Mulyasari dan Anggodo Widjojo yang menyita perhatian publik dan menjadi berita hot di tahun 2009.
